Hoboken, NJ, August 20, 2009 – On Monday, August 24, the “Empowerment Tour,” part of eLearners.com’s Career Stimulus Package campaign, will come to Salt Lake City. The event will be held at the Gateway Mall near the Olympic Legacy Fountain from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The national program is aimed at helping adults, of whom more than 70 percent do not have a bachelor’s degree, kick start their careers through education. The comprehensive career education program will offer undereducated, underemployed adults access to online education opportunities, including up to $4 million in full-tuition scholarships, and job shadowing programs at some of America’s most innovative companies. In fact, one of the universities offering the scholarships – Western Governors University – will be on site.
